Places Around lets you quickly find nearby places in town and the information you need to get there.
Places Around detects your current location and allows you to find nearby Restaurants, Bars, Movie Theatres, Shopping Malls, Hospitals, Museums, ATMs, Banks, Gas Stations and many more with just a tap.

App shows a list of various categories of businesses - Beauty+Health, Education, Travel, Entertainment, Food+Drink, Utilities, Worship etc. Each category contains a number of businesses. You can just select any business to see its nearby listing. Listing can be seen in two modes - list mode and map mode. For each business, you can see its contact details, photos, distance, rating, opening hours, compass, location on map, get directions, user reviews, google street view etc. You can call and share place information via mail/message as well.

KEY FEATURES -

• Search for over 35 predefined businesses such as Restaurants, ATMs, Hospitals etc.
• Search for any place in surrounding area by typing place name in search text field.
• Listing of upto 200 nearby places is supported.
• Listing of nearby places can be seen in two modes - List and Map.
• You can see extensive amount of information about a place. This includes contact details, distance, compass, rating, opening hours, photos, user reviews etc.
• You can see place location on map and get directions with the integration of GoogleMaps app.
• You can call the place.
• Place details can be shared via Email and Message.
• Places can be saves as favourites for fast access.
• Google street view is provided to see how a place looks like before actually visiting it.
